On top of all these treats, AWE is also granting a 35 percent discount on beverage orders at Arena Kitchen, IKON and Spotlight Bar.
The September Fair endures to take definite support from important industry players around the world, with exhibitors acknowledging that the fair serves as a powerful platform to grow their business. Buyers view it as a global marketplace where they could find just about anything in terms of jewellery, gems, designs and materials. The wealth of concurrent special events, seminars, and receptions make the fair an ideal platform to catch up on what’s trending, gain industry insights and network with other industry players.

The Fair will be organized at AWE from September 13 to 17 and at the HKCEC from September 15 to 19. It will host over 3,680 exhibitors from 56 countries and regions in more than 135,000 square meters of exhibition space.
“We are enthusiastic to present the loyalty award to eight exhibitors as a symbol of our appreciation of their support for the September Fair for 35 consecutive years. We constantly fine tune the September Fair to ensure it responds to the market’s ever-changing needs. Surely, we also make them feel unquestionable that through our quality service, the September Fair upholds its reputation as the world’s leading jewellery event,” said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs, UBM Asia.
Sunny Chan, senior event manager, Jewellery Fairs, UBM Asia, said the September Fair is expected to welcome around 56,000 local and overseas visitors in its seven-day run. “Participants can expect the same business-friendly environment with reliable and professional services that have become the hallmarks of UBM Asia’s fairs over the past several years,” noted Chan.

New attractions at the Fair include the CORE pavilion and two group pavilions – the Hong Kong Indian Diamond Association (HKIDA) and the Natural Color Diamond Association (NCDIA). Their coming on panel brings to 26 the number of group pavilions at this edition in the two venues. The rest are companies from Antwerp, Brazil, mainland China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong region, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Myanmar, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Turkey, the United States, Taiwan region, Thailand, and the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA).
“The CORE pavilion is a dedicated area for Hong Kong jewellery companies that have supported UBM Asia’s Jewellery & Gem Fairs in Hong Kong over the years and consider Hong Kong as the key platform from which they raise their business. “The launch of the pavilion adds to the exciting line-up of attractions and potential business opportunities,” remarked Lau.
The Packaging, Tools & Equipment pavilion has been relocated to the HKCEC to accommodate more exhibitors. The pavilion’s exhibition space is 18 percent bigger compared with the last edition.
Also returning this year is the “Diamonds are Natural: Declaration Programme on Diamond Exhibits,” which was successfully thrown in September last year. The scheme helps diamond buyers make informed purchasing decisions. The programme acknowledges members of recognised diamond trade associations who make a declaration that they supply and exhibit diamonds in line with “Trade Descriptions (Definition of Diamond) Regulation and in harmony with Hong Kong Law during the Fair. Diamond exhibitors in the programme show in their booths an official poster from UBM Asia that identifies them as participants in this programme.
